They will jump right over it...believe me they will find a way! However, If you just need to train a dog not to get up front with you, this product is the right price and the right buy! Served its purpose  On: 2008-07-29I was moving many states away and needed to keep my kitties in the back seat. This product definitely kept a barrier between the front and back seats. I have a 4-door sedan, and the product fit well. doesn't work  On: 2008-05-31The product was advertized as for mini vans. There is no way to securely attach in my van. My dog jumps right over it. I tried to cancel the order when I was placing it, and it didnt give me the option. I now have a product I didnt want and that doesnt work. Great product!  On: 2008-04-25The product is a strong nylon net that will confine your dog quite well. We added a flexible pole to conform to the shape of the roof and keep the dogs in the trunk of our SUV. Our beagle likes to escape and he tries to climb on the seat and push the netting but with no success. I certainly recommend this product to anyone. not bad, but not good for me On: 2007-11-08When I am driving my dogs settle, but as soon as I stop or get out of the car they move about, so the purpose of this product, for me, was to contain the dogs while Im not in the car. Unfortunately it took less than one minute for them to figure out that if they pulled the screen the elasticized top would move and allow them to jump into the front seat (and eat my lunch!). Doesn't attach to car well - useless for me On: 2007-05-06I have a Toyota 4Runner and the attachements that come with this net do not allow it to attach to the car. I have to hold it out of the car door and then close the car door on it for it to work. It will not attach to the roof rack or the door in any way. When you then open the door, if you dont remember to hold the contraption that you have strung outside of the door, it snaps into the car - beware all small kids in that seat! Backseat Rider Net On: 2006-07-10This is a great product. One thing to remember is, you must have a door post BEHIND the seat or you cannot attach this. This will be a problem for most SUVs. I was not able to use it once I received it but gave it to a friend that uses it for her two small dogs. |
