Thermal Bowl, assorted colors I provide some food, shelter and water for stray animals during the cold winter months. I used to have to break the ice out of the water dish several times a day and hope that my little friends came before it froze over. This thermal bowl is exactly what I needed! Weve had temperatures in the single digits, and the bowl keeps the water liquid without a sign of ice. I have recommended it to friends who have outdoor pets. Great for outdoor animals! On: 2008-01-23K&H 1.5 gal. Thermal Bowl, assorted colors Love these bowls! My first was purchased from manufacturer, Allied Precision Industries. Works great for my kenneled cats. A must have for outdoor pets. Get a heated pad also. Heated Pet Bowl On: 2008-01-18This bowl works great in South Dakota. Only problem instead of one cat now I have about four heated dog bowl On: 2008-01-01Love the bowl. Dont have to worry about the dogs not having water to drink because the bowl keeps it from freezing. Bowl works great! On: 2007-12-28Ive tried one other bowl. It did not keep water from freezing when air temps fell below about 10 degrees. This bowl has performed much better. Weve had several nights with temps below zero and have not had a problem yet. Not just for dogs.......................... On: 2007-12-22We use our heated bowl in the henhouse where we have a small flock of two dozen laying hens. Its so much easier to carry a plastic milk-gallon of water to them every morning instead of chipping ice from their bowl, or using a 5 gallon poultry waterer with a heated coil. We live in Maine, where so far this winter the temperature has been hovering near zero. The water is always thawed. Its wonderful. Not just for dogs..........................
