Great portable crate     On: 2008-06-02

Great air circulation! It lets me put both of my Australian Shepherds together in the crate. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because of the flimsy board at the bottom of the crate. It is really cheap plywood and is not accident friendly. What dog owner wouldnt expect an accident once in a while? Well Midwest should have planned a bit better. I ended up wrapping the board it in plastic for extra protection. The fleece cover of this board is pretty flimsy too, but I have been surprised that it hasnt fallen apart yet in more than 20 washings. I like that it has storage at the bottom of the crate for stakes and the cover it comes with. It is a tad big and bulky, but is still nicer than traveling with metal crates. I have had a dog jump on top of the crate when they didnt understand what I was asking of them. It did bend one of the metal poles at the top of the crate but it still works ok. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to people even with the few negatives I have experienced.

This works great! We are moving across the country and it fits in the back seat of my full size truck (barely) but gives our 90 pound german shepherd plenty of room to be comfortable. The extra large would have been HUGE.

This is a well made product, heavy duty materials (not that thin vinyl stuff!).I bought large for our german shep. dog and it is almost too big. She went in at once and walked arounda few times, lay down and looked happy. (It is big enough to fit her, and our 3 small sons at once.) Very good price, easy-easy-easy assembly, packs small and transportable. I love this crate and am so happy to have found it. We shopped around a lot before purchasing and are not disappointed.
