My German Shorthaired Pointer outgrew her old crate, so I over compenstated and got her a bigger crate. She is very happy. The product is sturdy and easy to unfold. When the product was delivered there was a corner broken on pan. I made one phone call to Midwest Life-Stages and they quickly replaced the pan. The customer service representative for Life-Stages was friendly and professional. Couldnt have asked for a better customer service experience.

Gus's Doggie Crate

Gus (5 month old golden who is growing fast)loves his new "home". It is well made, it wasnt too hard to put together, and it is very pleasing to the eye (in the way of crates).

I have two other Midwest kennels, so when I decided to look for another to put in the back of the truck, I wanted a Midwest. They come in black now which is great. Ease of setting up (no piecing together, just unfold) is great. However, the gauge of the material is not as sturdy as the older ones. It is sturdy, just not as sturdy. I would recommend this product.

This crate is very good and sturdy. It arrived quickly and was easy it put together. I haver two Boxers and there is plenty of room for both of them to lay comfortably.

I purchased this crate for my large yellow lab. I was having trouble getting him house trained and this crate did the trick. It was easy to assemble and is well made. It comes with a divider for growing pups.

The dog kennel is great. My dog (a golden retiver/assuie mix) has plenty of room and is not afraid of it. It is also portable which makes it perfect!

Dog Crate

This dog crate is excellent. We have 3 pitbull grand dogs and this crate is so large, all three can fit in there. The separation piece is nice as well if we ever want to keep them apart when crated. Easy assembly and having the handles to carry it with are a great plus as well.

Not recommended for a new puppy

I purchased this crate and paid for Saturday delivery so that I could have it for my new 7 week old puppy. The crate is good quality and will likely serve us well as the dog grows, but I cannot use it yet. The problem is that the gaps between wires are too wide, allowing a small puppy (or small breed dog) to get his teeth and jaws through them - with the strong liklihood of injuring himself or traumatizing himself by becoming stuck that way.

I had to rush out the same day to a local store and purchase a smaller "travel crate" with smaller wire openings in the door. He will stay in that until he outgrows it.

Fantastic Price for a very durable crate

Ive shopped around (and around, and around!) and found this to be the absolute best price anywhere online or in person. Although I havent received the crate yet, I have seen it in stores. Im very happy with the quality, but more so the price. Ive seen this crate range in price from $75 - $125, with shipping charges in excess of $30. $87.99 with free shipping and no tax is an amazing deal... and if you apply for the Amazon Visa, you save $30 off of that!

Great crate

This is a great crate for the price. The double doors are an excellent option for positioning the crate various ways. This crate is easy to fold open in a minute and close for storage. I bought this crate for my tall german pointer weighing 70lbs and this crate easily accomadates my other dog weighing 50lbs when necessary. I bought two more of these crates to keep at the parents houses as well. Very sturdy and durable.
