Theres nothing silent about this whistle, it is a complete waste of money. If I had paid more, I would have probably asked for my money back, but it just isnt worth the hassle.

I purchased this item bcuz I remember seeing TV shows where they used a Dog whistle and Dog came running from all direction. *I know stupid to compare TV with real life* but I found this dog whistle for 99 cents so I said what the hey and decided to give it a try on my dog. At the time I had Lucy a German Shepherd mix and it didnt work at all. I gave her to a friend and about 1-2 yrs. later I got myself two Mini-Doberman Mixed Puppies. I tried it on them and no use. Its junk ! No such thing as a dog whistle able to get a dog in your command. Use a regular coaches whistle instead. That gets my pups attention.

DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU JUMP~! THIS WHISTLE IS AVERAGE EVERYDAY QUALITY WHISTLE, THAT DOES A SHORT DISTANCE RECALL JOB FOR YOU. HOWEVER, NOT FOR PROFESSIONAL LEVEL, FIELD TRIAL USE~! FORGET IT~! LOL LOOK FOR UK/GERMAN/JAPAN MADE.
