Not What I Ordered     On: 2008-07-24

Not the item I ordered. Substitute is acceptable but I would not have ordered this if I had known I was going to get the substitute. Not worth the hassle to try to return it and get my money back.
Josie's Leash     On: 2008-05-11

So far, so good. My dog goes through leashes like crazy. The one is compact and very quiet. Time will tell. I would recommmend this leash.
Marvelous retractable leash     On: 2007-09-06

I am using the leash while working in Iraq and I am very impressed with the quality of the product and it has made a big difference during area and building searches. I would highly recommend it.
Great Retractable Leash     On: 2007-05-31

This is one of the few retractable leashes available in the longer length. It works especially well when walking our dogs in a large park or open field where they must remain on-lead. The retraction feature takes a bit of practice to use so that the rewind doesnt give your dog too hard a jerk. Even though this comes with a safety collar that is used in addition to the dogs own collar, we attach this leash to the body harness rather than the collar. There is no danger of injuring the dogs neck if the rewind zips unexpectedly or too forcefully. Be sure to read the instructions thoroughly and practice a few times before you take your dog out and about.
Right picture wong item     On: 2007-05-11

I was looking for the 26 foot,110 pound flexi classic 3. The picture showed the retractable cord leash. The item sent is the new version of the tape leash. I returned the product.
Flexible length Leash     On: 2007-01-09

This leash if you want one that allows extra length for your doggy to move about these are the finest. I did way to much research but am very pleased with the product.
Hardy leash     On: 2005-08-31

Ive only had 2 retractables so far, but this one outlasted the other by a LARGE margin. I got this flexi when Jake was a pup, and 7 years later, its been chewed on, spit on, dropped, dragged on concrete, dragged through mud, dirt, sand, water, snow, etc. Its even been caught in my hair every now and then. I got a different retractable last year, and it promptly broke on the same day I got it. Even before it broke, it was having problems retracting the leash-string (so Im standing next to a busy street, 20 of leash laying in the grass, Jake standing next to me, and Im trying desperately to get the darn thing to work before the next car goes roaring by). That leash was thrown out, and the old black flexi was given kisses and apologies for being undervalued.

The only problem it has right now is that the button needs a little more force from the thumb every now and then, and thats only because Jake chewed it out of shape a long time ago. Most of the time it works great, needs no pressure at all, but once in a while it will stick and youll need to repeatedly press it in to "work out the kinks" and Ive only had to do it less than once a year. But other than that, I never have to worry about holding a broken flexi while Jake is running like the wind after a truck. Its actually kept me out of such pickles and its suffered a lot of abuse. More than once, its had to withstand the pressure of a 50-60 pound dog lunging at top speed, full strength, at the end of the leash (or whenever Ive pressed the button). Sometimes I see the crack on the plastic body widening a little bit under the strain, but Im still very comfortable knowing it wont break. Its one hardy thing. Too bad retractables just dont get made the same way anymore.
