Good Kennel     On: 2008-09-13

I bought this kennel from the Seller, Xtreme-Cage, and they shipped promptly -- the product came exactly as described. Not sure why that reviewer accused the Seller of being untrustworthy.

At any Rate, we have pretty relaxed dogs, so Im not sure if this kennel holds up with bigger dogs that try to break free from their doggie prison, but for our needs, its a great deal.

We went to PetSmart and Pet Co to look at similar 30" kennels, and they were easily 80% more. Considering that the parts to make any dog kennel this size cost around $5, $79.95 at Pet Smart (like everything else there) is retail robbery.

Anyway, this is a great deal, I cant see any reason to hesitate. Again, very solid seller, great deal on shipping.
DOG CRATE     On: 2008-01-28

The crate came in such a perfect size for my Bogles puppy. The bottom tray is ever the best. It trapped all the liquid and waste well.
WoW     On: 2008-01-05

I ordered the Xtreme_Cage 30" on 12-28-2007 and was delivered on 01-04-2008. Very Fast. I use this cage for my cat and she loves it. It was so very easy to put together. I will order from Xtreme-Cages again when needed.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SELLER!     On: 2007-11-21

I ordered my cage about 2 weeks ago. I received a shipping email and then a delivery email saying it had been delivered, yet nothing had arrived in the mail. I checked with my apartment complex and nothing arrived. Very unreliable seller. Purchase at your own risk.
Not bad     On: 2007-01-01

Ive been using this crate for about 5 months so far. Overall, Ive not had a problem. It sets up and folds up quickly and easily. It folds up small enough to fit in the trunk of a car. My only issue, is Ive done a lot of traveling and so Ive set this up and taken it down many times. It has definately shown wear with this. The joints are starting to loosen and the paint is scratching and allowing the crate to corrode. Besides that, it is worth the money.
fantastic for the price, but the door could pose a choking hazard     On: 2006-08-30

This spiffy cage is attractive and super quick to assemble -- just unfolds and snaps into position in a minute or two -- even for a non-mechanical person like me. The folded position is not at all bulky -- excellent for those with storage limitations. Unlike other cages I have had, it has no sharp edges or fixtures. The black-coated metal is fairly light gauge & probably not suitable for a very strong animal, but it is fine for a cat or puppy. It is clean looking and well designed, and the bottom tray is handy for protecting your floor/carpet from spills. My only criticism is that the closing mechanism is not particularly secure; the cat I was housing in it (to acclimate him to the resident cat) almost pushed the two light bolts into the open position the first night he was in it. I can imagine a scenario where an animal could push open one of the bolts and get its caught head in the space between the door and the cage, and having its neck compressed witout being able to escape. (I know of a toddler who strangled in a similar manner in a crib with a top that was not secure.) I now use a couple binder clips at the upper and lower ends of the door to make sure this doesnt happen. But with those caveats, it is a fantastic product for the price.

Great price, good crate     On: 2006-03-30

This product has been great. The price is about half similar sized crates you can find at a pet store. The only difference is the metal is a little thinner but if your dog is not aggressive, it should be fine. Also, their is only one side door, doesnt have the 2 door options that higher priced crates have, BUT that didnt matter in our case. This door was actually larger and our puppy found it easier to go in and out. For the price, its a great product.
