![]() C.E.T. 0.12% Chlorhexidine Rinse 8 oz By: Virbac Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 2 More Information this product is a life saver! I have a cat that we believe has some sort of chronic mouth inflamation. Could not afford the tests that it would take to find out exactly what was causing it-thought it was due to a badly infected tooth but once the tooth was pulled, teeth cleaned and 2 courses of antibiotics, our vet believed it had to be mouth cancer!! He said to watch for any discomfort-trouble eating, breathing, etc and if his mouth became infected again he would dispense antibiotics but the inflamation was not going away. I took a shot and searched for any and all info I could find online about mouth inflamation and came upon this product. I had to find a way to keep the bacteria in his mouth down to a minimum but with a product that was mild enough so as to not aggravate his "condition" . I am happy to say that the cat is doing wonderful a YEAR LATER! I rinse his mouth twice sometimes more everyday with this product and it has helped him tremendously. I also have an elderly cat who has a heart condition which makes him unable to go under anesthesia for anythin, his teeth have suffered of course. This rinse also helped him as well. So to try and simply get my point across, if you need a dental rinse for your dog or cat that is gentle on the animal but tough on the bacteria/odor/plaque and tartar, this product is for you! I have to order another bottle soon and with 2-4 uses a day, one bottle lasted me over a year! Good to clean your stinky dog's mouth! Tyson, my 11 year old rescue American Bull Dog has very few teeth, and those that he does have are pretty bad off. Needless to say, hes got some pretty bad breath due to gum disease. When I use this on him, his bad breath goes away! He doest seem to like this stuff too much, but its easy to give it to him with the long/angled hard plastic tube that comes with it. CET also makes rawhide chews with simular active ingreadents and the dogs love those, but to be safe you have to watch them to make sure they dont choak on them, so thats an occational treat, while this stuff is a daily routine! Hope this helps! |
