  Petsafe Pet Screen Door By: Petsafe Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 3 More Information Very good cat Door  On: 2008-07-18The Petsafe Pet door took me 5 minutes to install. We are using it between our kitchen and screened in porch. I put a new screen on our sliding door (stretch it tight) and then measured and cut screen. This isnt in the instructionc but I used some 1 inch boards under screen for support. Once you line it up get a hammer and you need to really hit it hard so that it snaps together dont be afraid to hit it. I used a kitchen towel so not to damage plastic. Both our cats used it within a day. Locking Mechanism Poor  On: 2008-03-27Locking mechanism will not function properly if the door is installed according to directions (see suggestion in above review). Lightweight so that it is easy for cats to pass through. Pet door that mounts in a screen  On: 2005-09-19Great product - lousy instructions. Install the door on the screen before cutting the screen.
