A lifesaver!

An absolute must for anyone with large or small dogs and a nice car. Item packs away nicely in the trunk and can be installed in under 2 minutes. Been using this about a month now and I recommend them all my dog owner friends. Great product!

good product, but...

This product arrived in a beat up and previously opened box. The hammock was new, but I think it had been returned to the sell before for cuts in the hammock. There were three cuts that look like box knife cuts. They were all marked by small white stickers like a previous customer marked them for return. I needed to use this hammock the next day so I kept it, otherwise this would have gone straight back. As far as usefullness, this hammock is great.

Great Product

This hammock seems to be very good. I got a different brand before, and it began ripping where one of the straps was attached. This one looks like it will take lots of use.

What's not to love?

There is not one single thing I dont like about this product. I think it is definately the best pet hammock on the market - by far.
The "pocketed" ends keep the hair in, and the whole thing vacuums up nicely. Dirty wet dog - not a problem in my brand new car. Most of all, I think my dog is grateful for this product.
The only problem I see is if you have a car with no rear headrests or other "attachment". My car has those child seat attachment things in the back, so I just attach the hammock to those. I have added an extra set of buckles to my back straps so I dont have to keep feeding the straps through my child seat hooks.
If I need to have human passengers in the back, it just takes a minute to remove the hammock, fold it up, and put it in the trunk.
Love it! Love it! Love it!

Great for dogs and drivers

This carrier is the best yet, but not yet perfect. I enjoy a nice car with fine leather and the companionship of a beautiful dog with a magnificent double coat. I can enjoy them both without conflict using this carrier. Designed to fit all cars, it fits my Buick well. I dont understand the claim that it restricts the dog to the back seat, because I have never owned a dog that could not quickly and easily jump over the barrier, but a little bit of training solves that problem.

Dust, hair, and small spills are contained in the carrier. It is easy to install, easy to remove, and stays in place when installed. The pocket is convenient, and of adequate size.

If I were to change this carrier at all, I would add a thicker bottom panel, to give the upholstry more protection from the dogs nails, but it is easy to throw an old blanket or small throw rug on the seat first.

If possible, I would give this item 4.5 stars, because it is better than four, but I cant justify giving it 5 stars.

Good purchase

I have two Great Dane mixes and have struggled with keeping the backseat of my car clean and hair-free. In the past, I tried the regular seat cover which did nothing for me. My dogs would pull it down or push it to the side - it did little to keep the hair and dirt away from the seat. This hammock has, so far, worked much better. It definitely stays in place and holds most of the hair. I was hoping that it would act as a barrier to keep my dogs in the backseat, but they still step over it to climb to the front. All in all, its much better than my previous seat covers and I recommend it.
