I have completely different results than the other reviewer! I have 4 cats and 2 dogs and this thing pulls their hair right out of fabric, upholstry and rugs. It works better than tape rollers, those red sticky rollers and even better than my vaccuum (& I have one of those Dyson Animal vaccuums) It especially works great on small items like pillows, the dog and cat beds, and couch cushions. It takes just a little bit of muscle - maybe the other person isnt pulling hard enough - but Im a petite female and I can use it just fine - without wasting money by throwing adhesive sheets away, without noise so I can watch TV while Im using it and it stashes away easily in a drawer. I love this little gadget - its the only thing that allows me to feel like Im completely getting rid of my animals hair, if just for a day or two.

I had thought that this item would be very helpful in removing cat hair from my furniture- it was WORTHLESS. Save your money...
